12/11/2014 - Abschluss des Baus des ersten Iberdrola Windparks in Kenia

Iberdrola Engineering, in einem Konsortium mit Gamesa, hat den Bau seines ersten Windparks in Kenia abgeschlossen, der Ngong II, 13,6 MW Leistung, ein von dem staatlichen Unternehmen vergebenes Projekt Kenyan Electricity Generation Company (Kengen) für 21,4 Mio. EUR.

 

Diese erneuerbare Anlage in der Gemeinde Ngong Hills, etwa 30 km westlich von Nairobi, verfügt über 16 Windkraftanlagen des Modells G52 von Gamesa und wurde mit Fonds für die Internationalisierung des spanischen Unternehmens (FIEM).

 

Beide Unternehmen haben den Windpark unter der schlüsselfertigen Modalität durchgeführt, was Design, Kauf der Ausrüstung, Bau, Montage aller Komponenten, Anschluss an das Stromnetz und Betrieb und Wartung für mindestens ein Jahr umfasste.

 

Dieses Projekt, dessen Abschluss zwei Monate im Voraus - 16 statt 18 Monate - erreicht wurde, stärkt die Präsenz der Tochtergesellschaft von IBERDROLA in Kenia, einem Land, das für das Unternehmen zu einer Priorität geworden ist.

 

Die Errichtung des Windparks Ngong II ist Teil einer ehrgeizigen Initiative im Zusammenhang mit Strom- und erneuerbaren Energien, die IBERDROLA INGENIERE in diesem Land entwickelt.

 

Nairobi wird die kenianische Hauptstadt in eine Stadt mit einem modernen und zuverlässigen Stromversorgungssystem verwandeln und wird im Auftrag der staatlichen Unternehmen Ketraco und Kengen sowie der lokalen Firma Eolus durchgeführt.

 

Die Initiative besteht zum einen darin, ein neues Stromverteilungssystem zu errichten, das ein Hochspannungsnetz mit 15 neuen Kilometern Luft- und Grundwasser, vier Unterstationen - Athi River, Isinya, Ngong und Koma Rock, alle 220 Kilovolt (kV) - und die Erweiterung der wichtigsten Umspannstation der Stadt - Dandora, die auch 220 kV haben wird.

 

Außerdem baut die Tochtergesellschaft von IBERDROLA zwei Windparks auf: den bereits zitierten von Ngong II und Kinangop mit einer Leistung von 61 MW und einer Gesamtleistung von 38 Turbinen mit einer Leistung je Leistung von 1,6 MW vom amerikanischen Unternehmen General Electric.

 

Dieses Projekt stärkt IBERDROLA INGENIERE als eine der internationalsten Unternehmen in seinem Sektor, die bereits in fast 40 Ländern präsent sind. Die Haupttätigkeit der Tochtergesellschaft besteht darin, Schlüsselarbeiten sowohl für andere Konzerngesellschaften als auch für Dritte in den Bereichen Erzeugung, Kernenergie, Netze und erneuerbare Energien durchzuführen.
