
Das Wasser- und Stromunternehmen von Katar (Qatar Electricity & Water Co-QEWC) hat ZUSÄTZLICH Wasser - in einem Konsortium mit Mitsubishi Corporation (MC) und Toyo Thai Corporation Limited (TTCL) - die Planung, den Bau und die Wartung von zwei Entsalzungsanlagen mit einer Kapazität von 450.000 m3 pro Tag, von Ras Abu Fontas A3, in der Stadt Al Wakra, 10 Kilometer südlich von Doha, Katar Hauptstadt; Facility-D (QEZ3), in der Wirtschaftszone von Katar, 15 Kilometer südlich von Doha.
Beide Pflanzen sind ein wahrer Meilenstein in der Welt der Entsalzung, denn es ist das erste Mal, daß man in diesem Land die große Reverse-Osmose-Technologie einsetzte, die bisher nur die Verdampfungstechnologie zum Entweichen des Wassers benutzte.
450.000 m3 Wassertagebuch
Ras Abu Fontas 3wird eine Kapazität von 164.000 m3 pro Tag haben und wird in den nächsten Wochen zu bauen beginnen. Der Endabnehmer des erzeugten Wassers wird Katar General Electricity & Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA) sein und der ungefähre Betrag des Wasser-Aktivierungsvertrags beträgt 300 Millionen US-Dollar, etwa 264 Millionen Euro. AKTIVA Wasser ist für den Betrieb und die Wartung der Anlage für einen Zeitraum von zehn Jahren verantwortlich.
Facility-D (QEZ3)wird im Rahmen eines Mega-Projekts für Wasser und Energie (IWPP) täglich 284.000 m3 produzieren, das etwa 2.500 MW elektrische Energie 614.000 m3 Wasser pro Tag nach der Inbetriebnahme der neuen Anlage erreichen. Der Vertrag umfasst die Planung, den Bau und die anschließende Inbetriebnahme und Wartung der Anlage in Höhe von rund 225 Millionen Dollar, etwa 198 Millionen Euro.
Es handelt sich um den fünften und sechsten großen Vertrag, der im Nahen Osten ACTIONA Agua erhält und damit das größte spanische Unternehmen im Wassersektor in der Region ist, das größte Wachstumspotenzial der Welt auf dem Gebiet der Entsalzung und der Abwasserentsorgung angesichts seiner Wasserknappheit.
Sonstige Projekte
Im vergangenen Jahr erhielt ACCIONA Wasser den Vertrag, um die Operation und Wartung der Sohars Entsalzungsanlage in Oman, mit einer Kapazität von 20.000 m3 pro Tag und früher die O&M-Verträge von Kläranlagen in Haddah & Arana (500.000 m3 pro Tag) in Saudi-Arabien; der Vertrag für die Gestaltung, den Bau und die Inbetriebnahme der Meerwasser-Entsalzer in Al Jubail Auch in Saudi-Arabien (100.000 m3 pro Tag) sowie die Planung, den Bau, die Inbetriebnahme und den Betrieb während sieben Jahren der Erweiterung der Fujairah Entsalzer (137.000 m3 pro Tag) in den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten. Diese Anlagen befinden sich bereits in der Inbetriebnahmephase und werden in den kommenden Monaten in Betrieb sein.
