27/07/2012 - Alliance CNIO-Roche zur Entwicklung von Projekten zur Krebsbekämpfung

Das Nationale Zentrum für Onkologische Forschung hat ein Kooperationsabkommen mit der Pharmaindustrie unterzeichnet. Roche mit dem Ziel, neue Strategien zur Krebsbekämpfung zu fördern. Das Unternehmen wird die frühesten Phasen mehrerer innovativer Projekte unterstützen, die in der spanischen Institution entstanden sind.

 

Die öffentlich-private Zusammenarbeit ist das Ziel vieler Forschungseinrichtungen, darunter des Nationalen Zentrums für Onkologische Forschung (CNIO), das mit dem multinationalen Pharmaunternehmen Roche ein Kooperationsabkommen zur Förderung neuer Krebsstrategien unterzeichnet hat.

 

Dieses Bündnis, das das erste ist, das das Schweizer Unternehmen in Spanien und das dritte europäische Unternehmen in der Schweiz und Schweden unterzeichnet, ist Teil eines internationalen Programms, das Synergien mit Institutionen und Universitäten sucht, die neue Ziele verfolgen, die die Gesundheit von Patienten in der ganzen Welt verbessern können.

 

 

Diese Allianz stellt die erste, die die Schweizer Firma in Spanien unterschreibt

 

Für Maria Blasco, Direktorin des CNIO, "passt das Abkommen perfekt zu mehreren strategischen Zielen des Zentrums: Entwicklung innovativer Produkte, Stärkung von Allianzen mit dem Privatsektor und Internationalisierung seiner Tätigkeit."

 

Die Zusammenarbeit dauert 3 bis 5 Jahre; in denen beide Organe zusammenarbeiten und enge Zusammenarbeit pflegen werden, um die Forschungsergebnisse des CNIO in innovative Produkte zur Verbesserung der Diagnose umzusetzen; Prävention, Behandlung und Heilung von Krebs.

 

Das CNIO wird dem multinationalen Unternehmen Roche eine Lizenz für die Vermarktung der aus den Forschungsarbeiten gewonnenen Produkte erteilen und seine Anlagen sowie sein wissenschaftliches und innovatives Potenzial in den Dienst des Abkommens stellen. Im Gegenzug wird die Pharmaindustrie auf der Suche nach neuen therapeutischen Lösungen sein, die in Verkehr gebracht werden können und auf dem heutigen Markt von Interesse sind.

 

Dieses erste Projekt in Spanien steht im Einklang mit der globalen Verpflichtung der spanischen Institution, die innovativsten Technologien, die sich im Zentrum entwickeln, zu innovativisieren und in das Unternehmensumfeld zu übertragen, indem es die Zusammenarbeit mit Pharmaunternehmen und die Schaffung neuer Start-ups fördert.
