Barbara Kirchen wurde zum Vorsitzenden der Delegation der Kanarischen Inseln des Verbandes der Luftfahrtingenieure Spaniens gewählt (AEA). Der neue Vorstand besteht aus Vizepräsidenten, Sekretärin und drei Vokalen.
Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik durch Polytechnische Universität MadridKirchen sind stellvertretende Generaldirektorin von Binter Technic. Er studierte den internationalen Master in Marketing und Vertrieb an der Business School der ESADE, wo er heute eine akademische Mitarbeiterin ist, und er studierte als Executive Master in Unternehmensführung und -verwaltung (EMBA).
Sie hat mehrere Positionen im Binter-System ausgeübt: Sie war Generaldirektorin bei Naysa, Handelsdirektorin, Qualitätsleiterin des 145. Zentrums, zuständig für Ausbildung und Prüfung von 147 BinterTechnic, sowie Leiterin der Lufttüchtigkeitsprüfung und Ingenieurin für die Prüfung der Einhaltung des BinterTechnic-Designbüros, heute ADMTech. Zuvor war sie Flottenleiterin von ATR in der Engineering-Abteilung von Swiftair, wo sie auch technisch das Unternehmen bei grundlegenden Wartungsprüfungen in verschiedenen Wartungszentren vertrat. Es war seine Anfänge als Ingenieurin für Operationen auf dem Flughafen Lanzarote (AENA) und hat außerdem mit der Technischen Hochschule für Luftingenieure und der Luftwaffe in der Abteilung Wartung von F18 zusammengearbeitet.
Kirchen ersetzen Alberto Martín, der seit der Gründung der Delegation der Kanarischen Inseln vor zehn Jahren dieses Amt innehat. Die AIAE dankte ihr für die ständige Hingabe, die sie in den letzten Jahren dem Beruf und den Kollegien auf den Kanarischen Inseln sowie ihrem gesamten Vorstand zuteil wurde.
Die Delegation der Kanarischen Inseln der AIAE wurde im Mai 2006 gegründet und hat ihren Sitz in Gran Canaria. Der spanische Ingenieurverband besteht aus acht Delegationen: Zentrum, Norden, Katalonien, Süden, Levante, Kanarische Inseln, Balearen und Toulouse.
