Das Green eMotion-Projekt, eine europaweite Initiative der Europäischen Kommission zur Standardisierung der elektrischen Mobilität, sieht die Einrichtung von 700 Ladepunkten in Barcelona vor. Das Institut für Energienähe in Catalunya (IREC) wird die Erfahrungen des Projekts in ganz Europa drei Jahre lang überwachen.

 

Insgesamt 700 Einrichtungen in Barcelona, 210 in Madrid und 50 weitere Malaga werden im Rahmen des Green eMotion-Projekts rund 1.000 neue Aufladepunkte erreichen. Dieser europäische Plan zielt darauf ab, dass die ausgewählten Gebiete in Europa Erfahrungen mit der Elektromobilität sammeln und sich bis März 2015 vier Jahre lang entwickeln.

 

Zu den 42 am gesamteuropäischen Projekt beteiligten Partnern zählen das Ajuntament de Barcelona, das Konsistorium von Málaga und die spanischen Unternehmen Endesa, Iberdrola, sowie das IREC. Insbesondere wird das Forschungszentrum für den Energiesektor in Catalunya unter dem Vorsitz des Unternehmensberaters i Beschäftigung Francesc-Xavier Mena Informationen sammeln, um die geeignetsten Maßnahmen zur Förderung der Automobilindustrie in den zwölf teilnehmenden Regionen zu ermitteln. Bei der Überwachung wird der Wahrnehmung der Bürger Rechnung getragen.

 

Die andere Aufgabe des IREC im Rahmen des Green eMotion-Projekts wird darin bestehen, neue Technologien zur Steuerung der Batterielast von Elektrofahrzeugen zu entwickeln. "Unsere Arbeit muss als Grundlage für einen europäischen Ansatz dienen, der eine massive Einführung des Elektrofahrzeugs ermöglicht," so Antoni Martínez, Generaldirektor des IREC.

 

Die von der Europäischen Kommission in den nächsten vier Jahren vorgesehenen Haushaltsmittel für neue Anlagen und Elektrofahrzeuge belaufen sich auf 42 Mio. EUR. Die Europäische Union (EU) wird mit 24 Mio. EUR aus dem Gesamthaushaltsplan beitragen.

 

Schnelle und kostengünstige Entwicklung

Industrie-, Energie- und Automobilhersteller werden im Rahmen des Projekts der Europäischen Kommission Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen mit öffentlichen Verwaltungen, Hochschulen und Institutionen austauschen. Laut Vizepräsident der Europäischen Kommission und EU-Verkehrskommissar Siim Kallas "besteht das Hauptziel darin, eine erfolgreiche und rasche Verbreitung von Elektrofahrzeugen zu gewährleisten."

 

Neben Barcelona, Madrid und Málaga sind auch die Städte Rom, Pisa (Italien), Berlin (Deutschland) oder Kopenhagen, Bornholm und Malmö (Dänemark) von der Europäischen Kommission für ihr Projekt zur Förderung der Elektromobilität ausgewählt worden. "Es werden Themen wie die Integration intelligenter Netze, verschiedene Zahlungssysteme und die Erprobung alternativer Geschäftsmodelle behandelt," so der Projektkoordinator Heinke Barlag von Siemens.
