Das Projekt Tygre  Arbeit bei der Suche nach Anwendungen für gebrauchte Reifen, die in Europa rund um 3 Mio. Tonnen jährlich.

 

Bis zu einem 70 % Diese gebrauchten Reifen endeten in Deponien, eine Situation, die nur die Möglichkeit bietet, neue Methoden zur Wiederverwertung dieses Materials zu entwickeln und die Umweltzerstörung zu verringern.

 

 

TyGRE-Projekt


Die Reifen enthalten sehr entzündbare Gase. Diese Volatilität ist aus der Perspektive des Recyclings positiv, da sie eine Nutzung als Ersatz für Kohle oder Biomasse als Energiequelle oder als Initiator für die Herstellung von Nebenprodukten mit Mehrwert ermöglicht. Das Projektteam erforscht überlegene Methoden zur Nutzung dieser Ressource, indem es flüchtige Synthesegase oder Benzylsintegas entfernt, eine Mischung, die hauptsächlich aus Wasserstoff, Kohlenmonoxid und Kohlendioxid und Methan besteht.

An der Spitze des Projekts befindet sich die italienische nationale Agentur für neue Technologien, Energie und nachhaltige wirtschaftliche Entwicklung (ENEA) mit Sitz in Portici am Rande von Neapel. Sabrina Portofina, ENEA-Forscherin, berichtete, dass bei der Verwertung verschiedene Nebenprodukte genutzt werden müssten. ● Fester Kohlenstoff wird nach dem Vergasungsprozess als Grundlage für die Gewinnung solcher paraffinischer Nebenprodukte wiedergefunden.

Um den Mehrwert der Vergasung zu erhöhen, beschlossen wir, Produkte wie Siliziumcarbid aufzunehmen, da der Kohlenstoff bei hohen Temperaturen mit Siliziumoxid reagiert, um Wolframsiliziumcarbid zu erzeugen, so dies auch weiterhin.

Mit 3,3 Mio. EUR über die Europäische Union bündelt das Konsortium Industrie- und Handelspartner (Hersteller, Recyclingunternehmen, Verwender von Keramik-Endpulver und Hersteller von Pyrolithkohle).

Während der ersten Phase, die zwei Jahre nach ihrem Start im Jahr 2011 abgeschlossen wurde, hat das Projekt bedeutende Erfolge erzielt. Darüber hinaus wurde der Bau eines Prototyps für die Anlage in ENEA-Anlagen in Trisaien begonnen, der in der Lage sein wird, 30 Kilogramm Reifenrückstände zu verarbeiten. Dieser Prototyp wird dazu dienen, die Nachhaltigkeit der TyGRE-Recyclingmethode und die Energiebilanz des gesamten Prozesses zu bewerten.
