04/06/2013 - China schaut auf das Meer auf der Suche nach einer neuen Energie

In der letzten Sitzung des Exekutivausschusses Ocean Energy Systems (OES) in Guangzhou kündigten die chinesischen Gastgeber ihre Absicht an, 200 kW der Energiegewinnung von Gezeitenströmen mit einer horizontalen Achse Turbine im östlichen Meer Chinas einzusetzen.

 

WEEN entwickelt von Universität für Ingenieurwesen in Harbin ist nur eines von mehreren Offshore-Projekten, die entlang der Küste Chinas durchgeführt werden, mit Unterstützung nationaler FuE-Finanzierungsprogramme im Rahmen des Nationalen Plans zum Schutz der Inseln, der die Nutzung erneuerbarer Meeresenergie vorsieht, um die Nachhaltigkeit der abgelegenen Inseln zu verbessern.

 

José Luis Villate, Präsident von OES, sagte: "Die Energie des Meeres ist dauerhaft, erneuerbar und kohlenstofffrei, wodurch sie die perfekte Quelle für saubere Energie für abgelegene Gemeinden wie die Inselgebiete Chinas ist. Wir sind begeistert und beeindruckt, dass China versucht, diese unerschöpfliche Ressource auszunutzen."

 

 

Laufende Studien

 

Mehrere Projekte zur Nutzung der Wellenenergie laufen. Die erste 100 kW Wellenenergieeinheit des 500 kW Demonstrationsprojekts auf der Insel Dawanshan, das vom Institut für Energieumwandlung in Guangzhou entwickelt wurde, wurde am 17. April installiert. Eine 120 kW Boje entwickelt von der Universität Shandong hat fast ein halbes Jahr in der Nähe der Insel Hailv betrieben und ein 10 kW Gerät, das vom Institut für Energieumwandlung in Guangzhou entwickelt wurde, ist seit 5 Monaten in der Nähe von Wanshan Island in Betrieb.

 

Weitere Entwicklungen, die andere erneuerbare Quellen des Meeres nutzen, wie z. B. den thermischen Gradienten (Tocopherol), sind ebenfalls im Gange. Diese erneuerbare Energiequelle erzeugt nicht nur Elektrizität, sondern auch Trinkwasser. Aus diesem Grund ist die Nutzung des thermischen Gradienten ein weiterer Schlüsselbereich für die Entwicklung Chinas und eine Pilotanlage mit 15 kW wurde 2012 für 5 Monate getestet.

 

Im zwölften Fünfjahresplan für die Entwicklung der maritimen Wirtschaft (2011-2015) wird die Entwicklung erneuerbarer Meeresenergie als einer der Schlüsselkomponenten der aufstrebenden blauen Wirtschaft betrachtet. China hat in seiner Unterstützung dieser Projekte eine klare politische Absicht gezeigt, diese riesige natürliche Ressource nachhaltig zu nutzen.

 

China arbeitet über OS mit 20 anderen Ländern bei der Forschung, Entwicklung und Demonstration von Umwandlungstechnologien zusammen, um alle Formen der Meeresenergie zu nutzen. Dazu gehören Gezeiten, Wellen, Strömungen, Temperaturgradienten und Salzgradienten. China ist seit 2011 Mitglied von OES.
