Eine IP-Adresse ist ein numerisches Etikett, das einen Computer innerhalb eines Netzwerks identifiziert, jedes an dieses Netzwerk angeschlossene Gerät braucht eine "Matrix" oder IP-Adresse um sich innerhalb des Netzes identifizieren und mit dem Rest kommunizieren zu können.

 

Das bisher verwendete Protokoll, das IPv4, wurde entwickelt, um eine große Anzahl von Computern mit dem Internet zu verbinden, so dass Informationen von einem Punkt in den anderen der Welt kreist. Aber nach dreißig Jahren der Nutzung ist er an seine Grenzen gekommen, und es gibt keinen Platz mehr für neue Adressen, so dass er durch das neue IPv6 ersetzt wird.

 

 

IPv6, 80% langsamer als sein Vorgänger

 

Die Anzahl der IPv4-Adressen ist an ihre Grenzen gerückt, dieses System wurde in den 70er Jahren geschaffen und 1981 auf über 4 Milliarden Adressen standardisiert, was sich nach dem RIPE NCC (Europäisches Zentrum für die Koordinierung von IP-Netzen) hatte der letzte Block von 16,8 Millionen Adressen verwendet.

 

Der neue Adressstandard IPv6 bietet mehr als 340 Trillionen eindeutiger Adressen. Damit lassen sich die Identifizierung und die Netzverbindung auch bei einer weiter wachsenden Zahl an Computern, Tablets und anderen Geräten gewährleisten.

 

Es erhöht die Anzahl der Adressen deutlich, da der neue Adressstandard, IPv6, mehr als 340 Trillionen eindeutige Adressen, was gewährleisten kann, dass das kontinuierliche Wachstum von Computern, Tablets usw. eine Garantie für die Identifizierung und Vernetzung bietet, jedoch dagegen, reduziert seine Zugangsrate um etwa 80 Prozent gegenüber IPv4
