
Der Rektor der Polytechnische Universität Madrid (UPM), Carlos Graf, eröffnete die Installation eines photovoltaischen Systems in der Universitätsakademie für Industrietechnik. Die elektrische Energie, die von den auf dem Gebäudedeck angebrachten Paneelen erzeugt wird, wird auf mehr als 28.000 kWh pro Jahr geschätzt, zum Selbstverbrauch in das interne Netz des Zentrums injiziert.
Die neue Anlage ist eine der ersten der Welt, die verfügt über die sechs wichtigsten kommerziellen Photovoltaik-Technologien: Polykristallin-Silicium, konventionelles monokristallines Silizium, monokristallines Silizium mit doppeltem Kontakt auf der Rückseite, amorphes Silizillin, Cadmiumtellurium und indianisches Kupfer Gallium und Selen (CIS). Darüber hinaus sind alle Klima- und elektrischen Variablen überwacht und zugänglich über web, so dass das Energieverhalten der verschiedenen Technologien vergleichsweise analysiert werden kann und damit eine bessere Nutzung dieser Technologien erreicht werden kann.
Die Anlage wird in den Übungsstunden der Fächer der offiziellen Grad- und Masterdiplome mit verwandten Themen (Master in Elektromechanik, Master in Energietechnik und Master in Energieeffizienz) sowie in den Fortbildungskursen und Masterstudiengängen für Photovoltaik im Rahmen der EUIT Industrial verwendet. Ein Bildschirm, der in der Lobby des Zentrums installiert ist, zeigt in Echtzeit die tägliche Entwicklung der erzeugten elektrischen Energie, der angesammelten Energie und der Kohlendioxid-Ersparnis.
Der Direktor der EUIT Industrial, Emilio Gómez, und der Generaldirektor für Industrie, Energie und Bergbau der Gemeinschaft Madrid, Carlos López Jimeno, begleiteten den Rektor bei der Eröffnungsveranstaltung. Der Leiter der Abteilung für Electric Engineering der UPM, Julio Amador Guerra, war verantwortlich für die Präsentation der Funktionen des Systems, entworfen und installiert von der Firma Conersa. Auch andere relevante Unternehmen in diesem Sektor, wie AS Solar, SMA, Yingli, Sunpower, LG und Schletter, haben an dem Projekt teilgenommen.
"Dieses photovoltaische System entspricht mehr als 20 Jahren Arbeit im Photovoltaikbereich unserer Schule von Lehrern aus verschiedenen Abteilungen, mit Unterstützung der Leitung des Zentrums, und in denen die Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Zentren der UPM, Institut für Solarenergie Das Zentrum für Energie-, Umwelt- und Technologieforschung (CIEMAT) und die Industrieunternehmen" betont Amador.
