02/05/2011 - Die Fischerbruderschaft von Morro Jable wird das "Erneuerbare Eis" einführen

Morro Jable wird die erste Fischerschwester auf den Kanarischen Inseln sein, die aus dem Sonnenkühlsystem ein erneuerbares Eis verwenden wird, das die Kondensierung der Solarenergie nutzt, um Kälte zu erzeugen.

 

Das hat Efe heute von dem Umweltmanager des Cabildo de Fuerteventura, Antonio Gallardo, angekündigt, der berichtet hat, dass diese Pionierinitiative auf den Kanarischen Inseln vor Ende des Jahres aufgrund eines Abkommens zwischen der Biosphärenreserve der Insel und der Polytechnischen Universität Madrid Realität werden wird.

 

Gallardo erklärte, dass dieses Projekt, das auf 70.000 Euro veranschlagt wird, eine der Initiativen sein wird, die auf der Atlantischen Umweltkonferenz vorgestellt werden, die vom 5. bis 7. Mai in Puerto del Rosario stattfinden wird und Umweltexperten aus verschiedenen spanischen Gemeinden und anderen Gästen von Galapagos und der Weltorganisation für Tourismus zusammenbringen wird.

 

Der Leiter der Umweltinsel betonte, dass die Produktion von Eis aus Solarthermie für die Kofrade von Morro Jable die Stromrechnung dieser Einrichtung, die sich auf 30.000 Euro pro Jahr beläuft, um mehr als die Hälfte reduzieren wird und dass sie auch zur Nachhaltigkeit der Insel beitragen wird, über die das Biosphärenreservat Fuerteventura seit seiner Erklärung im Mai 2009 verfügt.

 

Er betonte, dass das im Rahmen dieses Pilotprojekts geplante Eis "aus Salzwasser hergestellt werden werde, da die Fischer kein Süßwassereis brauchen, um ihre Gattung abzukühlen," und fügte hinzu, dass dieses nachhaltige Produktionsmodell in der Folge zu den beiden anderen Teilen der Insel, Corralejo und Gran Tarajal, sowie zum Rest des Archipels führen soll.

 

Ein weiteres Thema, das der Direktor des Zentrums für biologische Vielfalt an der Universität Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Ricardo Haroun, auf dieser Konferenz behandeln wird, ist ein Phänomen, das vor zehn Jahren begonnen hat und heute in den Gewässern von Fuerteventura sichtbar ist.

 

Es geht darum, dass die Gewässer der Kanarischen Inseln durch den durch den Klimawandel bedingten Temperaturanstieg "tropenisiert" werden, was das Auftreten neuer Arten auf Inseln, auf denen sie früher nicht üblich waren, zur Folge hatte.

 

Diese Erwärmung hat mit dem Eisen begonnen, das heißt mit den westlichsten Inseln, erklärte Antonio Gallardo, der daran erinnert, dass die Kanarischen Inseln von einem Zweig des Meeresstroms aus dem Golf von Mexiko betroffen sind, was ihre Gewässer kalt macht, obwohl "durch den Breitengrad des Archipels ein äquatorialeres Wasser berührt würde."

 

Dieser Anstieg der Meerestemperaturen hat dazu geführt, dass einige Arten wie Trompetenfisch oder Blauer Hahn, für die früher "die Barriere war die Temperatur", in Fuerteventura zu sehen begannen, betonte Gallardo
