
Der Prototyp der Offshore-Turbine dass Gamesa am Pier von Arinaga auf Gran Canaria installiert hat, schlug am 2. November letzten Jahres den Rekord der Stromerzeugung einer Windkraftanlage in Spanien, nach der Produktion 118,05 MWh, die die frühere Marke (107,82 MWh) überschritten hat, die auch von einer Windkraftanlage des Unternehmens, der G128-4,5 MW, im Juli 2012, gewonnen wurde.
Dieser Meilenstein zeigt die hohe Zuverlässigkeit der Turbine, die mehr als 24 Stunden hintereinander Windlimit halten kann, ohne dabei irgendwelche Auswirkungen zu haben. Darüber hinaus bestätigt sie die Eignung des ausgewählten Standorts für die Wiedergabe der Meeresbedingungen und dient dazu, die für die Zertifizierung erforderlichen Daten zu erfassen.
La G128-5.0 MW Offshore Es wurde im Juli in Betrieb genommen und hat seitdem mehr als 2 GWh erzeugt, eine Energie, die für den lokalen Verbrauch in das Stromnetz injiziert wurde. Dieser Prototyp ist der erste Meereswindgenerator in Spanien installiert.

Auf der Grundlage der in den letzten Jahren getesteten und validierten Technologie in den Gamesa 5.0 MW Windkraftanlagen kombiniert die G128-5.0 MW Offshore Windkraftanlagen höchste Zuverlässigkeit und optimale Energiekosten, um in ihrem Segment eine Referenz zu werden.
Neben der Offshore-Turbine G128-5,0 MW sieht Gamesa die mittel- bis langfristige Entwicklung von Hochleistungs-Windkraftanlagen (7-8 MW) vor.
Die Windkraftanlage G128-5.0 MW Offshore verfügt über einen 128 Meter großen Rotor mit modularem und redundantem Design, der die Zuverlässigkeit gewährleistet und die erzeugte Energie maximiert.
