Kürzlich wurde ein neuer Windkraftanlagen-Prototyp in Betrieb genommen, der Vestas V164-8.0 MW, die größte der Welt bis heute, die speziell für Offshore-Arbeit konzipiert ist.
Die Windkraftanlage befindet sich im Windpark von Østerild, in Dänemark, im Nationalen Testzentrum für Großanlagen, wo verschiedene Tests überwacht und durchgeführt werden, um 2015 in die Produktion zu gelangen.
Mit dieser neuen Generation von Windkraftanlagen verfolgt Vestas zwei grundlegende Ziele: zum einen die Verringerung des Wartungsbedarfs und der Wartungskosten und zum anderen die Beschleunigung des Betriebs und der Reaktion dieser Anlagen.

Die Installation der Turbine ist ein entscheidender Meilenstein, um maximale Betriebssicherheit für Kunden zu gewährleisten, die in Offshore-Windkraft investieren. Die V164 -8.0 MW wird das Star-Meeresprodukt für Vestas und seinen Mitarbeiter Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Derzeit arbeiten andere Unternehmen in diesem Sektor an Modellen mit gleicher oder höherer Höhe.
Merkmale
Der Prototyp, bekannt als V164-8.0MW, ist die leistungsstärkste Windkraftanlage der Welt mit einer Einheit, die Strom an 7.500 Haushalte liefern kann. Es hat einen 140 Meter hohen Turm mit einer maximalen Turbinehöhe von 220 Metern.
Die Abtastfläche von mehr als 21.000 m2, das entspricht drei Fußballfeldern, und erhöht die Menge der aufgenommenen Energie, während die Betriebskosten und Wartungskosten reduziert werden.
