Die SENER-Stiftung, Institution der Technik- und Technologiegruppe SENER, hat er den Preis für die beste Doktorarbeit, die in seiner dritten Ausgabe an Joao Ricardo Pereira Valente für seine Thesen‘Aerial Coverage Path Planning applied to Mapping’, mit dem er den Doktorgrad an der UPM (Universidad Polytechnique de Madrid) erworben hat.

 

Der Preis für die beste Doktorarbeit der SENER Stiftung ist eine jährliche Anerkennung, die die Forschung anspornen soll. Hohes Niveau in Wissenschaft und Technologie in denen SENER tätig ist, d. h. in den Bereichen Luft- und Raumfahrt, Energie und Prozesse, Infrastruktur und Verkehr, und Naval.

 

Die Veranstaltung fand am Vormittag des 23. April in der Anlage von SENER in Madrid statt. Der Präsident der Stiftung SENER und Ehrenvorsitzender von SENER, Enrique de Sendagorta, hat den Preis vergeben, der mit 12.000 € für den Autor und 3.000 € für die Direktoren, in diesem Fall die Professoren Antonio Barrientos Cruz und Jaime del Cerro Giner. Auch der Präsident von SENER, Jorge Sendagorta, der Direktor der Stiftung SENER und Juan Seijas sowie die Arbeitgeber der Stiftung waren anwesend.

 

Die Jury, bestehend aus Professoren der genannten wissenschaftlichen Disziplinen - Technologie, sowie Doktoren des Technischen Korps von SENER und Arbeitgeber der SENER Stiftung mit Doktorgrad, wählte die These von Joao Ricardo Pereira Valente, in den Worten von Juan Seijas, weil: "Diese These behandeltMini UAV, auch kleine genannt nicht bemannte Luftfahrzeuge oder Drohnen" Das Interesse der Gesellschaft an Drohnen wächst und neue Anwendungen werden in sehr unterschiedlichen Bereichen, von der Paketlieferung bis zur agrimensura, auf den Markt gebracht. Daher ist es notwendig, Anstrengungen zur Entwicklung von Management- und Optimierungstechniken für die Nutzung dieser Techniken zu unternehmen. Diese These konzentriert sich auf Anwendungen der Fernerkundung und Georeferenzierung. Die Arbeit ist sehr gut präsentiert und verbindet sehr gut die theoretische Grundlage mit der experimentelle. Darüber hinaus wurden zahlreiche und originelle Versuche durchgeführt, und die wissenschaftliche und internationale Verbreitung der Dissertation ist bemerkenswert. Es ist ein Stolz für die SENER-Stiftung, solche Arbeiten zu belohnen, wissenschaftlich rigoros, technisch fortschrittlich und hoch prognostiziert in den technischen Entwicklungen der kommenden Jahre."

 

Die nächste Ausgabe dieser Preise wird im dritten Quartal 2015 zum Wettbewerb geöffnet werden.
