Laut den Informationen aus einer Studie der Technologieplattform für nachhaltige Landwirtschaft (PTAS) in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Interfraktionelle Arbeitsgruppe für Landnutzung und Ernährungspolitik (LUFPIG) des Europäischen Parlaments, die spanische Landwirtschaft verbraucht immer weniger Energie und Wasser und sendet weniger Gase in die Atmosphäre, um eine Einheit oder einen Euro des Produkts herzustellen.

 

 

Nachhaltige Landwirtschaft

 

Die Studie konzentriert sich auf wirtschaftliche, ökologische und soziale Indikatoren für die Landwirtschaft und die Tierhaltung in Spanien ('), was zeigt, daß die natürlichen Ressourcen effizienter genutzt werden, als sie zur Verfügung stehen, zum Teil aufgrund der technologischen Verbesserungen der letzten 30 Jahre, und daß dies zu einer billigeren Ernährung mit geringeren Umweltauswirkungen führt.

 

In dem Dokument wird die Landwirtschaft in ihrer Gesamtheit analysiert und eine Auswahl der wichtigsten pflanzlichen und tierischen Erzeugungen vorgenommen. Zu diesem Zweck untersucht sie, wie der Name schon sagt, sozioökonomische und ökologische Indikatoren.

 

Im Falle Spaniens ist der Preis der Erzeugnisse nicht im gleichen Tempo gestiegen wie der Verbraucherpreisindex (HVPI) für Lebensmittel und der allgemeine Verbraucherpreisindex, aber wenn andere Produkte dies für die Produktion notwendig gemacht haben, hat dies das Einkommen des Sektors verringert.

 

Diese Studie zielt darauf ab, dass jeder Staat in der Lage ist, die Auswirkungen der Agrar- und Viehwirtschaftsinnovation auf sein Hoheitsgebiet auf vergleichbare Weise zu messen und so Strategien zu entwickeln, die sie zu einem höchstmöglichen Grad an Nachhaltigkeit und Ressourceneffizienz führen.
