La Universität Miguel Hernández (UMH) von Elche hat die "Dattel Ethanol"ein Fahrzeug mit geringem Verbrauch, mit dem eine Gruppe von Studenten der Polytechnische Hochschule Elche (EPSE) am internationalen Wettbewerb teilnehmen "Shell Eco-Marathon", die vom 17. bis 19. Mai in einem Stadtkreis in Rotterdam (Holland) stattfinden wird. Bei diesem Wettbewerb das Fahrzeug, das mit einem Liter Kraftstoff mehr Kilometer fährt, belohnt. An der Vorstellung des Autos hat die Vizerektorin der Institutionellen Beziehungen der UMH, Maria Teresa Pérez Vázquez, teilgenommen.

 

Drei Studenten aus der Fachrichtung Maschinenbau, Industrietechnik, vier Studenten aus Industrietechnik und drei Studenten aus dem Maschinenbau der UMH nahmen neun Monate lang am Bau des Prototyps "Dátil Ethanol" teil, der von dem Professor für Maschinenbau und Energie der UMH Michelangelo Oliva koordiniert wurde. Die Studenten Cristina Planelles und Laura Sanchez werden die Fahrer des Fahrzeugs sein.

 

An diesem internationalen Wettbewerb beteiligen sich rund 250 Teams aus aller Welt. Dies ist die zehnte Ausgabe des Wettbewerbs, an dem die UMH mit einem sparsamen Fahrzeug teilnimmt. Die Studenten, die von Professor Oliva überwacht werden, haben dieses Jahr Verbesserungen eingeführt, um ein wettbewerbsfähigeres und umweltfreundlicheres Auto sowie leichter zu erhalten.

 

Der Test besteht darin, den Kreis umzudrehen, um zu überprüfen, welche der beteiligten Fahrzeuge mit einem Liter Kraftstoff mehr Kilometer fahren. Die durchschnittliche Geschwindigkeit der Prototypen darf nicht niedriger sein als 25 km/h. Das Fahrzeug der Universität Miguel Hernández ist heute unter den spanischen Geräten mit Verbrennungsmotor mit einem Brandzeichen von 1.455 km pro Liter Kraftstoff Rekord. In der letzten Ausgabe wurde der Dattel in siebenter Position unter den Prototypen eingestuft, die Benzin als Kraftstoff verwendeten. In diesem Jahr wird er erstmals an der Kategorie der Prototypen teilnehmen, die durch Ethanol angetrieben werden. Mit den Verbesserungen, die eingeführt wurden, hofft das Team der UMH, die Marke von 2.000 km pro Liter Kraftstoff und auf das Podium seiner Kategorie zu steigen.

 

Das Fahrzeug der UMH ist 3,20 Meter lang, 60 Zentimeter breit und 50 Zentimeter hoch und sein Gewicht in Wettkampffolge beträgt 38 Kilogramm. Es ist eines der niedrigsten Modelle seiner Kategorie, und dieses Design reduziert die Möglichkeit des Umsturzes erheblich, was sehr wichtig ist, wenn es sich in diesem Jahr um einen Stadtkreis mit sehr geschlossenen Kurven handelt.
