30/01/2013 - Die Universität von Almería wird 25% ihres Stromverbrauchs mit erneuerbaren Energien erzeugen

Seit gestern ist der Aufzugsparkplatz der Universität Almeria, zwischen der Bibliothek und dem Gebäude der Gesundheitswissenschaft gelegen. Auf dem Parkplatz wurde ein Photovoltaikpark eingerichtet, der eine starke Beharrlichkeit der Institution für erneuerbare Energien sowie eine Chance für die Universitätsgemeinschaft in Bezug auf Nachhaltigkeit und Bildung in fortgeschrittenen Energiesystemen darstellt. Diese Technologie wird einen jährlichen Beitrag zum Stromnetz von mehr als 1,176 MWh, was dem Stromverbrauch von mehr als 500 Familien entspricht.

 

Der Austausch konventioneller Energie durch Solarenergie bedeutet bei diesen Anlagen erhebliche Einsparungen bei den Schadstoffemissionen in die Atmosphäre, vor allem durch CO2, aber auch Stickstoffoxide und Schwefelderivate, in einem Wert von mehr als 17.500 Tonnen während der Lebensdauer. Wieder einmal ist die Universität von Almeria an der Spitze, indem sie diese Technologien und das Umweltbewusstsein als akademische Referenzeinrichtung vereint. Es gibt derzeit kein ähnliches Projekt in der spanischen Universität und es ist ein Schritt nach vorn in der Politik der Universität, die bereits früher auf diese Art von Energie gesetzt hat, wie ihre Vereinbarung mit der Universität zeigt. Die gesamte Energie, die aus dem Solarkraftwerk erzeugt wird, wird administrativ als Energie erfasst, die in das Stromnetz übertragen wird, obwohl in der Praxis die gesamte erzeugte Energie von den Anlagen der Universität Almería selbst verbraucht wird, wodurch Verkehrsverluste vermieden und ein effizienterer Verbrauch ermöglicht wird.
