
Eine Studie, an der Sie am Oberster Rat für wissenschaftliche Forschung (CSIC) hat einen neuen Katalysator entwickelt, der die Umwandlung von Kohlendioxid (CO2) Organische Erzeugnisse geeignet für industrielle Zwecke.
Die Ergebnisse wurden in der Zeitschrift Angewandte Chemie.
Los Katalysatoren Stoffe, die chemische Reaktionen beschleunigen, ohne ihre Zusammensetzung zu verändern. Der Katalysator, der in dieser Arbeit entwickelt wurde, basiert auf ein stabiler Iridiumkomplex in der Luft, verwandelt CO2 selektiv in Silylformiate, Siliziumhaltige Ameisensäurederivate.
El Ameisensäure, hat viele Anwendungen in der chemischen Industrie, in der Landwirtschaft, in der Lebensmitteltechnologie und in der Herstellung von Lederprodukten. Silylformiate werden zur Herstellung von Silikonpolymeren und als Ausgangsmaterial in der organischen Synthese verwendet.
"Die Entwicklung neuer selektiver und hocheffizienter chemischer Prozesse würde eine größere Wirtschaft der natürlichen Ressourcen ermöglichen, die Abfallerzeugung so weit wie möglich zu beseitigen oder zu verringern, Moleküle mit negativen ökologischen Auswirkungen zu recyceln und zu transformieren und die Energieausgaben zu minimieren," erklärt der Forscher des CSIC Luis Gold vom Institut für chemische Synthese und Homogeneische Katalyse, dem gemischten Zentrum des CSCI und der Universität von Saragossa.
Die durch diese Studie erzielte Reaktion tritt auf bei Umgebungstemperatur und sanftem atmosphärischen Druck. Es ist sehr selektiv, wirkt ohne Lösungsmittel und verursacht keine Rückstände.
Nach Angaben des Forschers des CSIC Francisco Fernández-Álvarez vom gleichen Institut Saragossanos "kann diese Forschung einen wichtigen Fortschritt bei der Umwandlung von CO2 in Produkte von industriellem Interesse darstellen."
