Ein Team von Forschern aus der Technischen Hochschule für Architektur der Polytechnische Universität Madrid (UPM) haben ein neues System für den Bau von Erdbeben-resistenten Wohnungen entwickelt, das in Ländern der Dritten Welt mit seismischer Aktivität eingesetzt werden könnte.

 

Die Ergebnisse der Tests des Integral Maurering Systems (SAI) zeigen, dass ein Haus, das mit diesem System gebaut wurde, ohne bedeutende Risse stabil bleibt und nach der Reparatur der Risse in der Lage ist, das strengere System weiter zu bekämpfen.

 

Viele der bestehenden Wohnungen in seismischen Gebieten mit geringem wirtschaftlichem Einkommen sind mit Lehm, Hohlstein oder Betonstein gebaut. Sie sind alle Materialien, die sich als nicht für den Bau von antisysmischen Wohnungen geeignet erwiesen haben.

 

Mit dieser Idee wurde ein Projekt in Angriff genommen, das den Entwicklungsgesellschaften eine konstruktive Alternative zu der derzeitigen Lösung bietet, die die Zuverlässigkeit von Naturkatastrophen gewährleistet und die geringsten Kosten verursacht.

 

Das entwickelte System verwendet vorgefertigte Rüstungen, die mit sehr leichten und leicht zu platzierenden Stahlstrohn, die sich miteinander verflochten haben, in die drei Richtungen des Raumes gekreuzt werden, um die Mauern und Schmiede zu verlegen, die dann mit Schutt, Lehm, Teppich, Ziegel oder Block gefüllt werden, um Wände zu formen, und kann nur eine Tafelecke auf dem Schmiedebau enthalten, um die Gesamtheit steif zu machen.

 

 

Prototypen

 

Um die Sicherheit dieses neuen Gebäudetyps für den Bau in Erdbebengebieten der Dritten Welt zu überprüfen, wurden verschiedene Prototyptypen mit dem SAS-System: zwei von ihnen im 1⁄2-Skala, eins mit Lehm und das andere mit hohlem Ziegelstein und ein dritter Prototyp im realen Maßstab.

 

Die Studien wurden im Labor für antisysmische Strukturen der Päpstlichen Katholischen Universität von Peru (PUCP) in Lima unter der Leitung der Forscher der Polytechnischen Universität Madrid (UPM) Belén Orta, Rosa Bustamante und José María Adell durchgeführt, und die Ergebnisse zeigen die großen Möglichkeiten des vorgeschlagenen konstruktiven Systems
