Die Gefahr von Veränderungen in einem Ökosystem durch die Einführung von Allocton-Arten, einfach und leicht zugänglich. Dies ist das Ziel der Matrix GAGO, Methode zur frühzeitigen Erfassung invasiver Arten entwickelt von Ivan Lobato, Studium der Umweltwissenschaften an der Universität Pablo de Olavide. Ökosysteme, wissenschaftliche Veröffentlichung der Spanische Vereinigung für Erdökologie, in seiner letzten Ausgabe einen Artikel, in dem dieses Instrument entwickelt wird, der als Alternative zu den Katalogisierungsmethoden dienen soll, die nach der Invasion eines Lebensraums wirken.

 

"Eine der möglichen Schwächen, die durch die Kategorisierung invasiver Arten entstehen, ist die Tatsache, dass Invasionen erst nach ihrer Entstehung in Betracht gezogen werden. Dies ist eine Folge der Aktionskette, denn sie ignoriert die Früherkennung und die Reaktion, um zu einer Methode der Eindämmung zu werden, die darauf beschränkt ist, dass sich die bereits eingedrungenen Arten nicht ausbreiten," so Ivan Lobato. Für diesen Zweck dient seine Methode nicht der Erstellung einer Liste repräsentativer Invasionen, sondern der Bereitstellung eines verschlüsselten Informationssystems, das leicht zugänglich ist und "die Fragen beantwortet, von denen, wie und wann Invasion mit größtmöglicher Schnelligkeit auftreten kann."

 

Insbesondere GAGO ist eine Matrix der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit, die darauf zurückzuführen ist, dass einheimische Arten mit den Alloctonen konfrontiert werden, die als invasive Arten gelten können, die im Studiengebiet entdeckt werden, in einem nahe gelegenen Umfeld liegen oder die aufgrund ihrer Verbreitung als möglich angesehen werden können. Die Anwendung ist sowohl für die Flora als auch für die Fauna und sogar für gemischte Studien vorgesehen. Zu diesem Zweck werden Hinweise für Fragen wie Lebensraum, Ernährung, Raubtierhaltung, Keimung, Wachstum oder allelopathische Beziehungen gegeben. Durch das Überkreuzen von Variablen kann festgestellt werden, ob zwischen den Arten ein negatives, positives oder neutrales Verhältnis besteht.

 

"Auf der Grundlage der gewonnenen Informationen kann man ahnen, welche Art in den Katalog aufgenommen werden kann, da sie eine Mehrheit der negativen Ergebnisse für die Originalarten zeigt," so Lobato. Um diesen Katalogisierungsprozess abzuschließen, schlägt die Methode vor, die Ergebnisse nach zwei Phasen zu validieren: Analyse der Invasivität und Analyse der Anfälligkeit gefährdeter Arten. Nach statistischen Werten werden die Schwächen des Ökosystems analysiert, "damit, wenn man die Werte beider Kategorien über die Grenze hinaus klagt, eine exotische Spezies vorfindet, die als Invasion kategorisiert wird," schließt der Autor.
