Grafen und Nanopartikel
Der Superkondensator, der von dem Team von Coronado entwickelt wurde, Institut für Molekularwissenschaft der Universitat deValència (ICMol) besteht aus Materialien auf der Grundlage von Grafen und Nanopartikeln, Kombination, die ihm hohe Leistung und hohe Effizienz verleiht.
Eugenio Coronado erhielt zahlreiche Forschungspreise wie den Königs-Jaime-Preis I., Nationalpreis für Chemie, Nationalpreis König Juan Carlos I. und Internationaler Lehrstuhl Blaise Pascal, und derzeit leitet das Europäische Institut für Molekularmagnetismus.
Das Team von Coronado entwarf die ersten molekularen Materialien, in denen zum ersten Mal Magnetismus und elektrische Leitfähigkeit nebeneinander existieren, zwei Eigenschaften von technologischem Interesse.
Dieser Fund, veröffentlicht in 'Natur') Im Jahr 2000 hatte dies große Auswirkungen auf die internationale wissenschaftliche Gemeinschaft, da sie als "Hybridmaterial, das eine neue Grenze im molekularen Spintron öffnet".

Beide Linien, die interessante Anwendungsmöglichkeiten in der Molekularspionik und in den neuen Quantentechnologien eröffnen, sind Teil der strategischen Linien, die die ICMol wird in den nächsten vier Jahren im Rahmen der "Maria de Maeztu" Exzellenzeinheit, mit der das Institut vor kurzem akkreditiert wurde, weiterarbeiten.
