
Galicien ist eines der Gebiete der Welt mit dem größten Potenzial für die Stromerzeugung unter Nutzung der Wellen des Meeres. LifeDemoWave, entwickelt von einem Konsortium, an dem sie beteiligt ist la Universität Vigo, zwei ihrer Spin-off-Unternehmen (Quantum Innovative y Hercules Control), Cetmar und Unternehmen ACSM y Gruppe Josmar.

Die Prototypen der einmotorigen Generation von je 25kW werden in der Gegend von Punta Langosteira platziert Sie werden zwei Jahre in Betrieb sein. Die Mitglieder des Konsortiums bemühen sich drei Jahre lang, die Fähigkeit und das Überleben der Prototypen unter extremen Bedingungen nachzuweisen. Die Energieeffizienz, die elektrische Qualität und die hohe Nutzungsquote der beiden Geräte werden ebenfalls bewertet.
