Die Umweltorganisation ist der Ansicht, dass die Energiereform nicht durch die elektrischen, sondern durch die Konsensbildung aufgezwungen werden sollte. Greenpeace fordert die Regierung auf, dem Druck von Endesa und Iberdrola, den Eigentümern des Kernkraftwerks Garoña, nicht nachzugeben, mit dem sie die Steuern umgehen wollen, die die Künftiges Steuergesetz für die Nachhaltigkeit der Energieversorgung Es geht darum, die Atomproduktion durchzusetzen, und deren Änderungsanträge werden am kommenden Donnerstag im Kongress der Abgeordneten angenommen.

 

Nuclenor hat erklärt, dass Garoñas vorzeitige Schließung auf diesen Grund zurückzuführen sei, und dies würde die derzeitigen wirtschaftlichen Verluste so weit erhöhen, dass das Unternehmen in Konkurs gerät.

"Es ist nicht Aufgabe der Regierung, für die unternehmerischen Vorteile dieser Industrie zu sorgen und damit die allgemeinen Interessen zu schädigen," so Raquel Montón, verantwortlich für die Greenpeace-Kampagne.

Greenpeace klagt auch die Vormachtstellung des Unternehmens an, indem er behauptet, dass die endgültige Einstellung des Betriebs bis zum 31. Dezember wieder rückgängig gemacht werden könnte, wenn das Gesetz nicht erlassen würde. Die Befugnisse in diesem Prozess der Schließung, der läuft und endgültig ist, sind vom Rat für nukleare Sicherheit (CSN) übertragen. Diese Institution ist vom Parlament abhängig, so daß diese Erklärung laut der Umweltorganisation die Situation der Herrschaft dieser Unternehmen über den fälschlicherweise gesetzlich liberalisierten Elektrizitätsmarkt, über die Regierung Spaniens und über das höchste Vertretungsorgan des Parlaments in vollem Umfang aufdeckt.

In den letzten Morgenstunden hat das Kernkraftwerk Garoña die Stromerzeugung eingestellt, und die Stromversorgung hat diesen Mangel nicht wahrgenommen, wie dies in der Kurve von Nachfrage nach Elektronetz in Spanien.
