
Das erste elektrische Fahrzeug, das mit einem Kraftstoffstapel mit Wasserstoff versorgt, wurde der FCX Clarity gerade in Barcelona vorgestellt.
Honda stellt dieses Fahrzeug serienmäßig her, in dem im Gegensatz zu allen anderen Akku-Elektrikern der FCX seine eigene Elektrizität aus dem Wasserstoff erzeugt, der über einen Brennstoffzellen in einem Behälter gelagert wird, und Wasserstoff erzeugt, wenn er mit Luftsauerstoff reagiert, die Elektrizität, die erforderlich ist, um das Fahrzeug zu bewegen, indem er nur Wasserdampf ausstrahlt.
Große Autonomie

Für die Durchführung dieser Autonomietests in Barcelona hat Metallkarbide eine mobile Wasserstoffversorgungsanlage installiert, die als Kraftstofflieferant für dieses Modell dient.
Der Präsident von Honda hat erklärt, dass die Einheitskosten des Modells bislang noch "normal" seien, weil die geringe Reife der Wasserstoffversorgungsplattformen es nicht erlaubt, massive Fahrzeugproduktionen herzustellen.
