
Iberdrola hat ein neues Projekt von der Generation in Mexiko zugeschlagen und ist verantwortlich für den Bau, den Betrieb und die Instandhaltung eines Zykluskraftwerks mit einer Leistung von 850 MWDas Projekt wird eine Investition von etwa 400 Millionen Dollar erfordern.
Das spanische Unternehmen wird Eigentümer der Anlage sein und die gesamte Energie, die von dieser Anlage an die mexikanische Bundes Stromkommission (CFE) erzeugt wird, durch einen 25-jährigen Vertrag mit festen Kapazitätsgebühren verkaufen.
Das neue Kraftwerk, das so genannte kombinierte Zyklus von Nordosten, wird in der Gemeinde Escobedo, dem Bundesstaat Nuevo León, zwei Millionen Mexikaner mit Strom versorgen. Das Unternehmen plant, das Kraftwerk im Juli 2018 in Betrieb zu nehmen.
Beginn der Arbeiten
Die Arbeiten von Nordosten werden Anfang 2016 beginnen und neben dem Bau der Anlage alle zugehörigen Anlagen, die für den Anschluss an das nationale Stromnetz erforderlich sind, wie Stromleitungen oder Umspannanlagen, in Betrieb nehmen.
Die Anlage verfügt über zwei hochmoderne Gasturbinen und eine Dampfturbinen des japanischen Herstellers Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems (MHPS) und wird als Lieferant der Kessel für das amerikanische Unternehmen Foster Wheeler dienen.
Sonstige Projekte
Iberdrola verfügt derzeit in Mexiko über Energieerzeugungsprojekte mit mehr als einer Milliarde Dollar Investition, einer der wichtigsten internationalen Wetten, die das Unternehmen in seiner Geschichte durchgeführt hat.
Insbesondere baut er zwei neue Anlagen für den kombinierten Zyklus (Baja California III und Süße Namen V), drei Kogenerationen (Ramos Arizpe, San Juan del Rio und Altamira) und die Windparks von Pier 2 im Bundesstaat Puebla und zwei Baumschulen in Oaxaca
Iberdrola ist seit mehr als 15 Jahren in Mexiko. Seither hat er seine Investitionen und seine Tätigkeiten kontinuierlich erhöht, bis er sich als größter privater Stromerzeuger des Landes konsolidiert hat.
Derzeit verfügt sie über eine Kapazität von 5.000 MW in Kombikraftwerken und 230 MW in Windparks, deren Produktion eine Bevölkerung von rund 20 Millionen Mexikanern versorgen kann. Das Unternehmen plant, in den nächsten fünf Jahren bis zu 5 Milliarden Dollar in das Land zu investieren.
