
TECHNALIEN an der IDECON, ein Konsortium, das den Einsatz erneuerbarer Offshore-Energien fördern wird. Für die Nutzung der Offshore-Windenergie ist ein Transport, "eine Evakuierung," effiziente elektrische Energie, die an die Küste erzeugt wird, ebenso wichtig wie die Erzeugung. Die Übertragung von elektrischer Energie von Hochspannung im Gleichstrom (High Voltage Direct Current - HGÜ), reduziert Verluste bei Langstreckenübertragungen und ermöglicht eine sofortige Kontrolle der Energieleistung und -qualität.
In diesem Rahmen und unter dem Namen IDECON, ein renommiertes internationales Konsortium, an dem TECNALIA beteiligt ist, führt eine fortschrittliche Forschung im Bereich der Auslegung und Steuerung von Offshore-Links in Hochspannungs- und Gleichstrom (HVDC) durch. Neben der Schaffung eines internationalen und multidisziplinären Wettbewerbs im strategischen Bereich der Offshore-Netze liefert IDECON ein sehr wichtiges Wissen, um die technischen Hindernisse zu überwinden, die derzeit die praktische Umsetzung der HGÜ-Netze in der Nordsee behindern, die für die Nutzung des großen Potenzials der Windressource erforderlich sind.
Das Projekt zielt auf zwei Ziele ab: Einerseits soll eine Methodik für die topologische Struktur des Stromnetzes entwickelt werden, um das Risiko schädlicher Wechselwirkungen zwischen den verschiedenen Komponenten der Offshore-Stromnetze zu minimieren. Darüber hinaus werden eine Reihe von Anforderungen an die Netzstabilität analysiert und erzeugt, die als Anhang zu den Netzkodizes sicherstellen, dass das System so funktioniert, wie es mit Technologien verschiedener Anbieter verbunden ist, wodurch die Wahrscheinlichkeit einer kostspieligen Unterbrechung des Betriebs des Systems minimiert wird.
Das Projekt wird von der Lehrerin geleitet Elisabetta Tedeschi der Norwegen Universität für Wissenschaft und Technologie (NTNU). Neben dem internen Wettbewerb von NTNU nehmen hochqualifizierte internationale Partner wie z.B. TECHNALIEN (Spanien), Universität Nottingham (England) und DNV GL (Norwegen). IDECON wird vom norwegischen Forschungsrat und von DNV GL finanziell unterstützt.
