
Das indische IT-Unternehmen Infosys wird das zweite Software-Entwicklungszentrum in der Stadt Maharashtra bauen, das von einer Milliarde Rupien (etwa 15,3 Millionen Euro) geschätzt wird, nachdem es im letzten Jahr das erste in der Stadt Pune eröffnet hat, berichtet die Times of India.
Die zweite größte Firma Indiens wird 142 Hektar Land für ihr Zentrum in Mihan vergeben, indem sie ein Projekt für die Fracht des Flugzeugs durchführt, das von der Entwicklungsgesellschaft des Flughafens Maharashtra unterstützt wurde und mit dem sie am Montag eine Vereinbarung unterzeichnete.
Dem Dokument zufolge Infosys wird innerhalb von 3 Jahren seine Tätigkeit im Zentrum aufnehmen und Jobs für 3.000 Software-Ingenieure in den nächsten fünf Jahren. Darüber hinaus plant die IT-Firma, bis zu 4,15 Mrd. Rupien zu investieren, was 63,2 Mio. EUR entspricht und 14.000 Arbeitsplätze im Ingenieurwesen wenn das zwölfte Zentrum innerhalb eines Jahrzehnts gegründet wird.
Infosys hat 64 Büros und 68 Entwicklungszentren in Indien und im Ausland, wo 145.088 Menschen arbeiten, registriert am 31. Dezember 2011.
