El Technologieinstitut Aragonien (ITA) seit Januar am europäischen Projekt beteiligt ist LIMOWOOD, mit dem Ziel, eine neue Anlage (WPC) aus Resten der Holz- und Thermoplastikindustrie zu entwickeln. Dieses neue Dokument enthält eine Erhöhte Feuchtigkeitsbeständigkeit und verbesserte Fungizideigenschaften. Die LIMOWOOD-Anlage bietet eine Alternative zu Holzplatten und Holzderivaten, die derzeit in der Herstellung von Bade- und Küchenmöbeln verwendet werden. 

 

Das ITA arbeitet an der Definition der Formulierung der Verbindung, an der Analyse der Eskalation durch Simulation und an der Charakterisierung und Validierung von Verbindungen, die sowohl auf Labor- als auch auf industrieller Ebene hergestellt werden.

 

Das LIMOWOOD-System wird den Herstellern und Möbelbauern zugute kommen, da es sich um ein Material handelt, das mit Wettbewerbskosten verbunden ist und den Marktanteil erhöhen wird. Verwenden Sie keine chemischen Klebstoffe, Beschichtungen oder Laminatmöbel. Es ist ein einfaches Material zum Sägen und Zusammenbauen und reduziert die Abfälle, die traditionell in der Installation von Bade- und Küchenmöbeln erzeugt werden. Die mit LIMOWOOD hergestellten Möbel werden auf einem Zwischenmarkt zwischen Möbeln aus massivem Holz und Möbeln von geringer Qualität hergestellt.

 

An diesem Projekt, das im Dezember 2014 abgeschlossen und von der Europäischen Union (EU) im Rahmen des 7. Rahmenprogramms FP7 kofinanziert wird, beteiligen sich vier Länder: Spanien, Deutschland, Belgien und Frankreich. Darüber hinaus gehören zu den Unternehmen: Beologic NV, Javal S.L., Andrea Bondet SA und Holzwerk BAUR GMBH und die Technologiezentren: Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Angewandten Forschung (EFRAUNHOFER -WKI), fortgeschrittene Technologien Inspiration und ITA.
