
JMP Ingenieure, Unternehmen Riojana, ist Hauptrolle auf dem Symposium der Raumfahrt (IEPC 2013) der George Washington University (USA) mit einem Plasmamotor mit flüssigem Brennstoff für Versuchssatelliten.
El 33 Internationales Simposium für Raumfahrt George Washington University - IEPC 2013- (Washington DC, 6.-10. Oktober 2013) ist das Szenario für die Präsentation der Ergebnisse dieses Projekts. Koordinierung durch Eduardo Remirez (JMP Ingenieure), wird auch von Serge Baqrral und Jacek Kurzyna, Institut für Plasma und Laser in Warschau.
Im IEPC werden weltweit führende Forschungen im Plasmaantrieb sowie andere Anwendungen von Plasma im Weltraum und anderen Technologien vorgestellt. IEPC ist das wichtigste internationale Forum für Entwickler, Forscher, Manager, Akademiker und Studenten im Bereich der elektrischen Antrieb für Raumschiffe. Sie findet alle zwei Jahre statt und zählt über 300 Teilnehmer aus der ganzen Welt.
Elektromagnetischer Antrieb
Dies ist das einzige globale System von elektromagnetischer Antrieb auf der Grundlage von Plasma und schadstofffreier flüssiger Kraftstoff (Pulsed Plasma Thruster, PPT), um Nano-Satelliten mit einem Gewicht von 1 bis 5 kg zu fördern, wodurch das Gesamtgewicht des Systems und seine Auswirkungen auf das Gesamtmassenbudget des Systems verringert und minimiert werden.
Bislang verfügten die Satelliten nicht über die Fähigkeit, sich selbst zu bewegen (Rotation/Umleitung). Mit diesem Projekt wird die Haltung des Satelliten, Manöver, Wartung im Orbit und desorbitiertes Manöver (Entfernung des Satelliten bis zu einem Friedhofsumkreis) kontrolliert.
