
Die frühzeitige Erkennung eines Öldeponien kann von entscheidender Bedeutung sein, um so weit wie möglich rasch zu reagieren und die schrittweise Mischung von Rohöl und Wasser zu vermeiden oder zu verringern, was die weitere Reinigung erschwert und ineffizienter macht.
Darüber hinaus ermöglicht die Kenntnis der Art des ausgelagerten Kohlenwasserstoffs eine spezifische Reaktion, um der Verschmutzung zu begegnen. Unter Berücksichtigung dieser beiden Prämissen entwickelten Forscher der Abteilung für angewandte Physik der Universität Vigo einen kostengünstigen Sensor, der die Erkennung von ins Wasser gelangenden Kohlenwasserstoffen ermöglicht, und lieferten auch Informationen über die Art des betreffenden Kohlenwasserstoffs.
Merkmale der Einrichtung
Dieses neue, kleine, kompakte und kostengünstige Gerät ist so konzipiert, dass es über Wasser schwebt, indem es einen Bereich kontrolliert, der verschmutzend ist oder der Entwicklung eines in einem bestimmten Gebiet erzeugten Überfalls folgt.
Dieses Gerät verwendet das Phänomen der Fluoreszenz, die Eigenschaft, Licht von einer bestimmten Frequenz zu absorbieren, die viele Stoffe aufweist und für jede einzelne Substanz einzigartig ist (Ultraviolet bei Kohlenwasserstoffen), und diese Stoffe übertragen es dann mit niedrigeren Frequenzen, und zwar sowohl innerhalb der sichtbaren Region als auch mit Informationen, die es ermöglichen, eine Einleitung zu erkennen und zu identifizieren.
Die Informationen zu diesem neuen Gerät wurden in der wissenschaftlichen Zeitschrift veröffentlicht.
