Forscher an der Universität Göteborg, Schweden, gelang es ihnen, das Leben eines 10-jährigen Mädchens zu retten, das die Lebervene durch die Ersetzung durch ein künstliches Blutgefäß, das im Labor aus Stammzellen der Patientin selbst entwickelt wurde, verstopft hatte.

 

La Lebervene ist eine dicke Vene, deren Stamm zwischen den Muskeln der Leberoberfläche liegt. Ihr System ist zwischen zwei entgegengesetzten Kapillaren, der Peripherie und der Leber. Die Obstruktion dieser Vene außerhalb der Leber kann zu sehr schädlichen Blutungen im Körper oder zu einer Vergrößerung der Milz führen.

 

 

Neue Möglichkeiten ohne Gefahr der Ablehnung

 

Wie die Zeitschrift "The Lancet" in ihrer jüngsten Ausgabe veröffentlicht, fand die Transplantation im März letzten Jahres statt und eröffnet nach Angaben der Autoren den Weg für Transplantationen aus Stammzellen für Patienten mit Herz- und Dialyse-Bypass, die keine geeigneten Blutgefäße für eine Ersatzoperation besitzen.

 

Der Vorteil der Verwendung von Gewebe, das mit dem eigenen Gewebe eines Patienten hergestellt wurde, besteht darin, dass kein Risiko einer Organabstoßung besteht und daher auch keine Notwendigkeit besteht, dass der Patient lebenslange Immunsuppressiva nimmt.

 

Martin Birchall und George Hamilton vom University College London haben in einem weiteren Kommentar in "The Lancet" darauf hingewiesen, dass die Technik jetzt sollte in klinischen Studien untersucht werden und in einem Produktionsprozess mit strenger Qualitätskontrolle entwickelt.

 

Sumitran-Holgersson hat erkannt, dass er den Prozess bereits vereinfacht hat und jetzt Stammzellen aus dem Blut nehmen kann, anstatt sie aus dem Knochenmark zu extrahieren, während er auch beabsichtigt, diese Technik in Arterien im Laufe des Jahres zu testen.

 

Tatsächlich arbeitet das schwedische Forscherteam, das von der Forscherin Suchitra Sumitran-Holgersson geleitet wurde, mit einer Firma zusammen, deren Name nicht bekannt ist, um das Verfahren zu vermarkten.

 

 

Erfolg der Transplantation

 

Für diese Transplantation nahm das Team der Universität von Göteborg ein 9 Zentimeter großes Stück von der Oberschenkelvene eines verstorbener Spender Und er nahm sie alle weg. lebende Zellen, blieb einfach mit einem Proteinrohr, das als Gehäuse für die neue Transplantation funktionierte.

 

Die Stammzellen, die aus dem Knochenmark des Mädchens entnommen wurden, wurden dann in den Schlauch eingeführt, und zwei Wochen später wurde die Transplantation in die Patientin implantiert.

 

Das neue Blutgefäß stellte den normalen Blutfluss sofort wieder her, wie die Ärzte sagten, obwohl es sich nach einem Jahr streckte und ein zweites mit Stammzellen geschaffenes Transplantationswerk benötigte.

 

Vor vier Jahren bekam eine 30-jährige Frau die erste Transplantation aus der Luftröhre-Welt, die im Labor geschaffen wurde speziell für sie, die in ähnlicher Weise entwickelt wurde, nachdem sie in das Organ eines Spenders die Stammzellen der Patientin selbst gesät hat.
