
Eine Flotte von autonomen Unterwasserfahrzeugen und Luft-und Oberflächendrohnen führt diese, zwischen heute und Freitag, ein Experiment von dem Aufspüren von den Ölableitungen in den Gewässern in der Nähe des Hafens von Cartagena, innerhalb des europäischen Projekts durch URready4OS, die die Polytechnische Universität Cartagena koordiniert (UPCT).
Das von der Generaldirektion für den Katastrophenschutz kofinanzierte Projekt zielt darauf ab, ein Protokoll zu erstellen und eine Liste mit "einer Flotte intelligenter Schnellreaktionsfahrzeuge, die auf Ölableitungen ins Meer geschult sind," zu erstellen. Javier Gilabert, Co-Direktor des U-Boot-Laboratoriums der UPCT und Projektkoordinator.
Die Vollendung dieser Pilotphase, an der fünf Drohnen aus Spanien, Kroatien und Portugal, 20 Forscher und ein Dutzend Vertreter von Unternehmen beteiligt sind, besteht darin, durch Farbstoffe eine Ölableitung zu simulieren und diese intelligenten Fahrzeuge zu starten, die den Deponier erkennen und überwachen müssen. Die UPCT nimmt an der Entsendung mit einem unterseeischen Roboter mit acht Stunden Autonomie teil.
"Bislang fehlte es an einem Werkzeug, das die Ölpest in der Tiefe erkennen und ihre Größe und Art bestimmen kann. Dieses Problem wird unter anderem durch Sensoren in U-Booten gelöst werden," sagt Gilabert, der weiter ausführt, dass die Flotte auch aus unbemannten Luft- und Oberflächenfahrzeugen besteht.

Das Experiment wird mit der Zusammenarbeit von dem Maritime Salvamente, einem der Partner von diesem Projekt, dessen Schiff Clara Campoamor, das neuralgische Zentrum von den Tests sein wird.
Am 25. und 26. Juni werden internationale Branchenexperten aus verschiedenen europäischen Ländern sowie Vertreter von Unternehmen wie Navantia, Repsol und Oil Spill Antworten, einer internationalen Firma, die sich auf Notfallaktionen bei Ölverschmutzungen spezialisiert hat, die Fortschritte im Rahmen dieses Projekts zeigen.
