Descripción de la oferta:

The CIVIL ENGINEER is responsible for managing all aspects of the design as it relates to civil works (earthworks, foundations calculations, roads design, drainages, etc.), specifically for utility-scale PV projects.

This position will interface with the procurement and construction teams to ensure that the civil designs meet all applicable codes and standards, site and client requirements.

Requisitos

Estudios mínimos: Diplomado

Experiencia mínima: 3 años

Requisitos mínimos:

Senior Civil Engineer, Civil engineer or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years experience in the Solar PV energy sector.

Working knowledge of the Solar Industry from manufacturing or construction companies.

Knowledge of the structure PV (fixed structure and tracker) in utility-scale projects, including design and calculations.

Knowledge of all applicable standards and regulations related to civil works.

Deep knowledge of design and other software (AutoCAD, GIS, Office, Excel).

Deep knowledge in foundations calculations (required deep knowledge on CYPE or similar software)

Experience in the interpretation of geotechnical studies in order to define the foundation parameters and the corrosion protection of the structures.

Experience in defining technical requirements, conducting, and interpreting Pull Out Tests.

Deep knowledge and experience of design and calculations with Civil 3D performing slope analysis in the implantation of trackers and fixed structures. Design and calculation of esplanades, internal roads…

Deep knowledge at Hydraulic, Hydrologic and Drainage calculations. Experience at HEC/RAS, Storm Sanitary Analysis (C3D), or similar software

Experience in the elaboration of detailed engineering construction drawings.

Availability to travel occasionally, not for long periods of time.

Excellent written & verbal communication skills in both, Spanish and English.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, results-oriented, autonomous, team player and passionate.

Strong time-management skills and ability to multi-task.

Requisitos deseados:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design of all related civil works layout of the plant.

Prepare calculations, studies, reports, and drawings, in tenders or detailed engineering phase.

Prepare technical specifications related to civil works and perform technical evaluation of the structure supply.

Define the optimal structure foundation system for projects and tenders.

Analyse geotechnical surveys.

Analysis of topographic studies of implantation and viability.

Study and analysis the earthworks of each project or tender, make constructive drawings. Perform slope analysis of trackers and fixed structures implantation.

Provide support during the procurement tendering process in order to make the best selection.

Prepare technical documentation for Request for Proposals (RfP), tenders and contracts.

Supervision of design, supply, factory acceptance testing of the PV structure and commissioning.

Provide short term field support during construction.

Apply the best practice of the industry in order to maximize efficiency.

Collaborate closely with various other departments.

Take part in a works group to decide standards or strategic decisions.

Additional duties as required.
