Eine internationale Studie, an der Sie sich beteiligt haben Oberster Rat für wissenschaftliche Forschung (CSIC) das elektronische und magnetische Verhalten von einer metallischen Verbindung durch absichtlichen Zusatz spezifischer Verunreinigungen, in diesem Fall Lithiumatome.

 

Dieser Prozess, bekannt als Doping, wurde in Metallphthalocyaninen angewendet. Die Ergebnisse der Studie wurden veröffentlicht unter: Nature Materials.

 

"Doping ist ein wichtiger Prozess bei der Herstellung von Halbleitergeräten, der bei der Entwicklung von Materialien für neue Arten von elektronischen Geräten sehr hilfreich sein kann. Im Bereich anorganischer Materialien, wie z. B. traditionelle Halbleiter, wurde es weithin untersucht, aber wir wissen noch sehr wenig über das Doping von organischen Materialien. Dies hat die Entwicklung neuer Arten von Materialien für die organische Elektronik der Zukunft eingeschränkt, wie zum Beispiel Bio Supraleiter, die einzigartige Funktionen und verbesserte Eigenschaften versprechen," erklärt der Forscher des CSIC Roberto Robles.

 

Robles arbeitet im Zentrum für Forschung in Nanowissenschaften und Nanotechnologie, dem gemischten Zentrum des CSIC, der Stiftung Privada Instituto Catalán de Nanotechnologie, der Generalitat de Catalunya und der Autonomen Universität Barcelona.

 

 

Dopingatome

 

Die Studie hat als Modell eine Art organometallische Verbindung, bekannt als Metallphthalocyanine verwendet. Diese Komponenten haben eine symmetrische Struktur, bestehend aus acht Ringen, die einen metallischen Atomkern umgeben, und mit verschiedenen Räumen, in denen Dopingatome eingesetzt werden können.

 

Durch elektronische Berechnungen identifizierten die Forscher in den Fthalocyaninmolekülen die von Lithiumatomen bevorzugten Räume und stellten ihre Belastungs- und Spinzustände fest. Sie zeigten, dass das Elektron je nach Ort, an dem das Lithiumatom angebracht wird, auf das metallische Ion oder den organischen Teil der Verbindung steuert.
