Dies zusammen mit dem größten Anteil der anderen Sektoren, die ihren Verbrauch 2009 erhöhten, hat die Nachfrage in diesem Sektor auf 40,7 Prozent gegenüber 62,1 Prozent im Jahr 2008 geschätzt.
Der größte Einsatz von Biokraftstoffen für den Verkehr hat diesen Sektor in zweiter Linie in der Intensität des erneuerbaren Verbrauchs, die 24,4 Prozent der Gesamtmenge umfasst, gefolgt von der Wohnbranche mit 22,9 Prozent und den Dienstleistungs- und Primärsektoren mit 10,7 Prozent bzw. 1,3 Prozent.
Der Endverbrauch an erneuerbaren Energieträgern stieg in Spanien um 7,1 Prozent und deckte 4,9 Prozent der Gesamtnachfrage.
