
Die kommerziellen Vorhersagen sehen vor, dass bis 2030 mehrere Millionen Elektroautos in Betrieb genommen werden, und die Elektro-Hybridfahrzeuge (PHEV) und Elektrofahrzeuge werden 39 Prozent der Verkäufe bis 2035 ausmachen, wobei die Verfügbarkeit effizienter Batterien für die Stromversorgung von Elektromotoren davon abhängig ist.
Parallel zu diesem Bedarf wurde der Markt für nachfüllbare Batterien im Jahr 2008 auf 8 Mrd. EUR geschätzt und wird voraussichtlich bis Ende 2015 28 Mrd. EUR erreichen.
LISSEN-Projekt
Das Forschungsprojekt LISSENMit europäischen Mitteln finanziert, hat er eine hochdichte Lithium-Süßstoff-Batterie entwickelt, die Produkte nach jeder Ladung länger betreiben könnte. Die entwickelte Batterie enthält eine Anoden hergestellt aus einer Verbindung von Kohlenstoff und Silizium und Kaolin hergestellt aus einer Verbindung von Kohlenstoff ysLithiumulfur Nanostrukturiert.
Diese Innovation könnte erhebliche Auswirkungen auf Elektroautos haben, ein Markt, auf dem die kommerzielle Akzeptanz durch die Notwendigkeit, die Batterie regelmäßig aufzuladen, begrenzt ist. Diese neue Technologie, die durch das aus EU-Mitteln finanzierte Projekt LISSEN eingeführt wurde, bietet Dreimal mehr Energiedichte als herkömmliche und erweitert die Autonomie von Elektroautos sowie deren Nützlichkeit und Attraktivität. Dies bedeutet eine Steigerung der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit für die blühende europäische Elektroautoindustrie.
Diese Technologie bietet auch Vorteile für die Umwelt für Europa. Elektrofahrzeuge senden weder CO2 noch andere Schadstoffe wie NOx, NMHC und PM aus. Die Popularisierung erneuerbarer und kohlenstofffreier Energiequellen im Verkehrssektor wird dazu beitragen, dass die EU die vorgeschlagenen Emissionsreduktionsziele erreicht. Der Motor von Elektroautos ist auch leise und funktioniert sanfter, so dass weniger Lärm und Vibrationen erzeugt werden.
Laut Riccardo Carelli vonConsorzio Sapienza Innovazione (Italien) und Koordinator des Projekts "Ein konstantes jährliches Wachstum von 10 bis 20 Prozent wird berechnet, insbesondere bei Ion-Lithium-Batterien."
Abschluss des Projekts Nächste Schritte
El LISSEN-Projekt, die Ende August 2015 abgeschlossen wurde, umfasste alle Aspekte der Batterieproduktion, angefangen bei der Untersuchung neuer Werkstoffe bis hin zur groß angelegten Prototypprüfung. Bei ihrer Arbeit nutzten sie dreidimensionale geometrische Modelle, um die Eigenschaften der Materialien darzustellen. Diese Übung ergab, dass die Verwendung stabiler ionischer flüssiger und veränderter organischer Lösungen die mit der Auflösung von Schwefelkathoden verbundenen Umweltprobleme verringern könnte, während durch die Entfernung von Lithiummetall die Batteriesicherheit erhöht wird.
Derzeit wird die Entwicklung von Prototypen in den Batterieprüfanlagen, aber auch in den Industriepartnern des LISSEN-Konsortiums, wo es möglich ist, Skalierbarkeits- und Fertigungsfragen zu untersuchen, in Angriff genommen.
