10/05/2013 - Iberdrola wird 96 MW Photovoltaik in Südafrika bauen

Die Gesellschaft Jasper Power Company hat das Konsortium ausgewählt, das aus Iberdrola Engineering und das südafrikanische Unternehmen Group Five für den Bau einer Photovoltaik-Anlage in Südafrika mit 96 MW.

Das Photovoltaikkraftwerk namens Jasper PV ist Teil eines Projekts, das das amerikanische Unternehmen leitet. Solar Reserve.

 

Dieses Projekt ist auch Teil der Runde 2 des Renewable IPP Programme des südafrikanischen Energieministeriums, mit der acht Photovoltaikanlagen und sieben Windparks gebaut wurden. Die Renewable Energy IPP Programme ist ein ehrgeiziges Programm, das über fünf Runden eine Gesamtkapazität von 3.725 MW anbieten wird.

 

Die südafrikanische Regierung hat vor kurzem angekündigt, dass sie nach Abschluss des derzeitigen Programms ein neues Programm für erneuerbare Energien ins Leben rufen will, um bis 2020 weitere 3200 MW sauberer Erzeugung in das Netz aufzunehmen. Diese Ziele machen dieses Land heute zu einem der Länder mit dem größten Potenzial im Bereich der erneuerbaren Energien.

 

 

Jasper PV

 

Das Projekt wird in der Nähe der Stadt Postmasburg in der Provinz Northen Cape liegen und über 325.000 polykristalline Module mit etwa 180 Hektar beherbergen.

 

Das Konsortium ist für die Entwicklung der Umspannstation zuständig, die die Energie aus dem Kraftwerk und einer 132-Kilovolt-Luftlinie (kV) evakuieren wird, die diese Infrastruktur mit dem nationalen Netz verbinden wird, und beide Unternehmen werden auch den Betrieb und die Wartung in den nächsten 15 Jahren durchführen.

 

Der Vertrag ist auf 150 Millionen Dollar (ca. 115 Millionen Euro) geschätzt und umfasst die Ingenieurtechnik, die Lieferung von Ausrüstungen, die Baustelle, die Montage und die Inbetriebnahme dieser erneuerbaren Anlage.
