
Der Rektor der Polithenische Universität Cartagena (UPCT), José Antonio Franco, hat auf dem Campus de la Engineering versichert, dass er "in Zukunft die besten Ingenieure brauchen wird" und hofft, dass die Universität in ein paar Jahren die 9.000 Studenten erreichen wird. "Jetzt haben wir 7.000 Schüler, aber wir glauben, dass es ideal wäre, 8.000 bis 9.000 Schüler zu haben," sagte er.
Der Rektor der UPCT ist heute Morgen zusammen mit dem Generaldirektor der Universitäten, Luis Javier Lozano, dem Dekan der Schule der Industrieingenieure, José Isidoro Marín, und den Vertretern der Partnerunternehmen auf dem Campus de la Engineering, den meisten Workshops, die auf der Messe für wissenschaftliche Verbreitung organisiert werden, unterwegs.
In den letzten 10 Jahren ist die Nachfrage nach Ingenieuren um 25% zurückgegangen. in Spanien. Franco sagt: "In der UPCT bleibt die Nachfrage bestehen, aber wir sehen, dass es dringend notwendig ist, frühe Berufungen für die Zukunft zu wecken, und aus diesem Grund entstand der Campus de la Engineering." Darüber hinaus erinnerte der Rektor daran, dass an dieser Ausgabe 5.000 Schüler aus der gesamten Region teilnehmen und erklärte, dass "dies ein sehr illusionierendes Projekt für Unternehmen ist, die mit uns und den Berufsschulen zusammenarbeiten."
Der Generaldirektor der Universitäten betonte, dass Ingenieurdiplome "die beste Beschäftigungsquote sind. Seiner Ansicht nach muss der Arbeitsmarkt "den Fachkräften eine sehr wichtige Grundausbildung vermitteln und ihnen dann die Möglichkeit geben, sich an den Markt anzupassen."
Der Dekan des Kollegs der Industrieingenieure der Region Murcia, José Isidoro Marín, hat jedoch darauf hingewiesen, daß "erst wissen muß, was der Markt braucht, und dann muß die Universität angepasst werden." Mit dieser Aussage hat Marin darauf hingewiesen, daß der Ausstieg von Ingenieuren aus der Universität "die derzeit bestehende lokale Nachfrage weit übersteigt.
Derzeit hat das College of Industrial Engineers 80 seiner 200 Kollegien in der Arbeitslosigkeit. Ihr Dekan hat erklärt, dass diese Situation seit 4 oder 5 Jahren passiert. "Die Zahl der Arbeitslosen ist sehr hoch und sollte nicht existieren, weil dies ein Beruf ist, in dem es nie eine Arbeitslosigkeit gegeben hat," fügte er hinzu.
