ITP und Rolls-Royce haben einen Vertrag unterzeichnet, für den ITP für die Lieferung der Niederdruckturbine (TBP) des Motors Trent 7000 für alle Versionen des Airbus 330neo Flugzeugs als Risikopartner und lebenslanger Nutzen des Programms.

 

Auf diese Weise wird ITP für die Konstruktion, Herstellung und Montage des TBP-Moduls verantwortlich sein, eines der wichtigsten Module in den heutigen großen Turbofan-Motoren. ITP wird die vollständige Konstruktion der Turbine, einschließlich aller Phasen der Turbine, von der Konzeption bis hin zur Detail- und Entwicklungsphase, mit modernster Technologie durchführen, um die umweltfreundlichere und effizienteste Turbine herzustellen.

 

Darüber hinaus wird ITP die meisten Schlüsselkomponenten der Turbine herstellen und sich mit der Integration und Montage befassen, um das komplette Modul für Rolls-Royce zur weiteren Installation am Motor bereitzustellen.

 

Mit diesem Vertrag erweitert ITP seine Beteiligung als Partner auf Risiko und Profit für die gesamte Rolls-Royce-Motorfamilie für Doppel-Gang-Flugzeuge. Nachdem das neue Flugzeug in Betrieb genommen wurde, wird ITP einen Marktanteil von Niederdruckturbinen in Flugzeugen mit einem Doppelgang von mehr als 50% weltweit erzielen.

 

Ignacio Mataix, CEO von ITP, erklärte dazu: "Dieser Vertrag ist ein wichtiger Schritt, um auf dem Pfad des Wachstums fortzufahren und unsere Position in führenden und hochtechnologischen Programmen zu festigen. Seit 1992 ist ITP der Lieferant von Niederdruckturbinen in allen Trent-Motorprogrammen von Rolls-Royce."

 

 

 

 

Trent 7000

 

Der Trent 7000 ist der von Rolls-Royce entwickelte Motor, um den Airbus A330neo exklusiv zu betreiben. Auf der Grundlage der Architektur des Trent 1000 und der Technologie des Trent XWB wird der Trent 7000 den Trent 700 ersetzen, der Marktführer in seiner Kategorie und Motor der A330 ist. Die Verantwortung für ITP für den Motor hat sich deutlich erhöht, von einem Bauteil (Trent 700) zur Volldruckturbine (Trent 7000). Der Motor verbessert die Leistungsfähigkeit des Trent 700 - vor allem hinsichtlich des Kraftstoffverbrauchs (10% weniger) - erheblich, indem er das Treibverhältnis des Motors verdoppelt und den Schalldruck halbiert. Der Motor hat einen Schub von 64.000 bis 72.000 Pfund.

 

Der Airbus A330 verfügt über zwei Versionen, die 800 für 252 Passagiere und 900 für 310 Passagiere, die beide mit Trent 7000 Motoren ausgestattet sind. Mit einem für Ende 2017 geplanten Inbetriebnahme (EIS) erwartet Airbus, dass der A330neo in seinem Marktsegment zum Referenzpunkt wird.

ITP, beteiligt von SENER (53,12%) und Rolls-Royce (46,87%), umfasste unter anderem die Bereiche Design, Forschung und Entwicklung, Herstellung und Guss, Montage und Prüfung von Luftmotoren und Turbinen. Es ist auch der offizielle Wartungsdienst für die meisten der derzeit in der Welt bestehenden Motorenhersteller. ITP verfügt über 17 Produktionszentren in Spanien, Großbritannien, Malta, den Vereinigten Staaten, Indien und Mexiko und über mehr als 3.000 Mitarbeiter.
