
Vor ein paar Tagen war ich wegen der Verschmutzung in der Hauptstadt von Pekin in China alarmiert, da sie die Werte weit über denen, die als gefährlich gelten für die menschliche Gesundheit, mehr als das Doppelte des Grenzwerts von der Weltgesundheitsorganisation als gesundheitsschädlich eingestufte Partikel.
Das Partikelmessgerät der US-Botschaft erreichte einen Index von 728 in Peking und in anderen Gebieten der Stadt Werte von 176 und 442. Diese Verschmutzungsraten sind ungewöhnlich hoch, doch in der Hauptstadt Chinas ist die übermäßige Verschmutzung häufig üblich, besonders wenn die Bedingungen der letzten Tage wie Windmangel und dichter Feuchtigkeit herrschen.
In diesem Zusammenhang hat die Stadtregierung beschlossen, alle Sportaktivitäten im Freien, wie sie in den Rechtsvorschriften aufgeführt sind, wenn der Index über 500 beträgt, aufzuheben und zum ersten Mal die Notfallplan zur Bekämpfung der Umweltverschmutzung.
Einstellung eines Teils der Industrietätigkeit
Diese Verschmutzungswerte, die sich auf die 12 Provinzen China die nach Expertenmeinung zu den schlimmsten des letzten Jahrzehnts gehört, wurde Foto aus dem Weltraum von den Satelliten der NASA für die nationale Meeres- und Atmosphärenverwaltung (NOAA).
Diese Verschmutzungsrate hat die Behörden der Pekinesen dazu gezwungen, die Maßnahmen zu beenden. 58 Unternehmen mit hohem Schadstoffausstoß. Darüber hinaus müssen sie die Schadstoffemissionen von 41 weiteren Unternehmen um rund 30% senken und 28 Werke lähmen.
Der Leiter des Umweltkontrollzentrums Peking, Zhang Dawei, hat die Verschmutzung in der chinesischen Hauptstadt der zunehmenden Verwendung von Kohle zur Bekämpfung der Wintertemperaturen, der industriellen Tätigkeit, des Verkehrs und der Windlosigkeit zugeschrieben.
