Forscher der Universitat Politique deValència am Campus de Gandia eine neue Struktur entwickelt und experimentell im Labor ausgewertet hat, die aus Konventionelle poröse Materialien - Im Bau verwendet - die volle Schallabsorption über einen breiten Frequenzbereich ermöglicht.

 

Das Projekt wurde auch von Experten der Technical University of Denmark, LUNAM Université de Le Mans (Frankreich) und Institut de Ciències Fotoniques (ICFO) Die Ergebnisse wurden veröffentlicht unter: Scientific Reports, der Redaktionsgruppe Natur.

 

"Unsere Studie befasst sich mit einer neuen Perspektive eines der wichtigsten Probleme für die heutige Gesellschaft: die Gestaltung von Materialien und Oberflächen, die geeignet sind, Lärm effizient zu reduzieren. Angesichts der erzielten Ergebnisse glauben wir, dass wir einen wichtigen Schritt in Richtung des perfekten Absorbers getan haben. Das ist nur durch die Neugestaltung eines zurzeit bereits verwendeten Materials möglich," bemerkt Victor Sanchez-Morcillo, Forscher am Campus de Gandia de la Universitat Politèctica deValència und Direktor des Masters in Akustiktechnik, der auf diesem Campus unterrichtet wird.

 

 

Die Forscher haben in ihrer Arbeit gezeigt, wie die entworfene Struktur eine außergewöhnliche Aufnahme des Klangs durch eine Strategie ermöglicht, die a priori widersprüchlich erscheint: Die Schalldämpfung nimmt zu, indem sie die Menge des absorbierenden Materials reduziert. Auf diese Weise wird eine vollständig reflektierende Oberfläche zu einem perfekten Absorber, obwohl es in den meisten Fällen kein Tonmaterial gibt.

 

Der Schlüssel zum Verständnis dieses Verhaltens ist folgende: Die neue Konfiguration des Materials in Form regelmäßig verteilter Platten ermöglicht es der Welle, leicht in das Material einzudringen und die Interaktion zwischen ihm - der Welle - und der Struktur zu verstärken, wodurch die Absorption erhöht wird.

 

 

Akustische Bildschirme

 

Victor Sanchez weist auf seine möglichen Anwendungen hin, dass die in dieser Studie erzielten Ergebnisse einen Weg für die Entwicklung neuer Lärmschutzlösungen eröffnen, wie z.B. die Entwicklung neuer akustischer Bildschirme zur Verringerung der Lärmbelastung durch Straßen, Bahnwege usw.

 

Die gesamte experimentelle Entwicklung der Arbeit wurde auf dem Campus de Gandia de la Universitat Politècnica deValència durchgeführt, einem Zentrum mit langjähriger Erfahrung in der Forschung und Lehre im Zusammenhang mit Akustik.
