Das Projekt AVCOP (Added-Value for metallic Coated Products by new sol-gel processes) wird sieben kleinen Fertigungsunternehmen die Möglichkeit geben, ihr Produktangebot auf dem Markt für Anwendungen zur Metallbearbeitung neu zu definieren.

 

AVCOP wird für diese Entwicklungen eine Technologie anwenden, die bisher noch nicht in Betracht gezogen wurde, und die sich in nano-strukturierte Sonnen-gel-Beschichtungen mit Ionenflüssigkeiten, konzentriert auf die Versiegelung und den Schutz von eloxiertem Aluminium, heißem galvanisiertem Stahl und verzinktem Zink.

 

Diese neuen Produkte werden es den traditionellen Herstellern ermöglichen, der Bedrohung durch billigere und qualitativ minderwertige Produkte aus Einfuhren aus niedrigeren Kosten zu begegnen.

 

 

RESISSENZ UND SCHUTZ

 

Im Geiste der Europa-2020-Strategie haben die KMU unter anderem das Ziel, dem Markt durch die Nutzung innovativer Oberflächenbehandlungen Produkte mit Verschleißfestigkeit, Korrosionsschutz und Ästhetik anzubieten, die weit über den derzeitigen Standards liegen. Die KMU haben auch das Ziel, in ihren Herstellungsprozessen erhebliche Gewinne zu erzielen, die durch eine 50%ige Senkung des Energieverbrauchs im eloxierten Prozess, die Beseitigung toxischer Vorbehandlungen aus dem Galvanisierungsprozess und den Einsatz nanostrukturierter Ionenflüssigkeiten in Beschichtungen (Lösungsmittelfreie Flüssigkeiten) erzielt werden. Das am Projekt beteiligte KMU-Konsortium besteht aus den vier Herzstückpunkten der Europäischen Union, die in diesem geographischen Bereich unterschiedliche Entwicklungsrealitäten darstellen.

 

All diese KMU mussten sich dem Wettbewerb mit importierten Produkten minderer Qualität stellen und haben sich entschlossen, auf diese Produkte proaktiv zu reagieren, indem sie Forschungsführer im Bereich der sol-gel-Chemikalien für Korrosion und Oberflächenschutz sowie im sich abzeichnenden Bereich der Ionenflüssigkeiten angezogen und versammelten.
