09/06/2014 - Verwendung von Biokunststoffen in der Automobilindustrie

Die Verwendung von Bioplastik Im Bereich der Fahrzeug Es stammt aus dem Anfang des letzten Jahrhunderts. Das erste Stück, das von Henry Ford in den 1920er Jahren hergestellt wurde, bestand aus der Abdeckung der Ford-Modell T-Anzündspule. Bei der Herstellung wurden Materialien aus landwirtschaftlichen Erzeugnissen, insbesondere Weizenglutenharz, mit Asbestfasern verstärkt, verwendet.

 

Seither und bis heute haben verschiedene Automobilhersteller auf die Verwendung dieser Materialien in verschiedenen Anwendungen für den Verringerung des Verbrauchs fossiler Ressourcen und der Kohlendioxidemissionen in die Atmosphäre.


Im Jahr 2003 entwickelten die Hersteller Toyota und Prius cars aus PLA-Fasern Fahrzeugteppiche. Später setzten Mazda Motor Corporation und Teijin auf die Verwendung dieser Materialien für die Innenpolsterung des Modells Mazda Premacy Hydrogen RE Hybrid. Dieses neue Design der Polsterung erfüllte nicht nur die höchsten Sicherheitsstandards, sondern bot eine gute Qualität, Haltbarkeit, hohe Abriebfestigkeit und Sonnenschäden sowie Flammenverlangsamung.

 

Im Anschluss an diese Anwendungen sind neue Ersatzteile für herkömmliche Kunststoffteile durch mit diesen Materialien hergestellte Teile entstanden, wie z. B. seitliche Türverkleidungen, Armaturenbretter und/oder Innendecke.

 

 

Verschiedene Anwendungen


Die japanische Firma Toyota Motor Corporation entwickelte im selben Jahr einen Reifenschmuck aus Kunststoffmaterial auf der Grundlage von PLA aus mit Keniaf-Fasern verstärkter Zuckerrüben für das Hausmodell Toyota Raum.


El Bambus die von der Mitsubishi Motors Corporation als Verstärkung in ihren PBS-Verbindungen für Innenanwendungen verwendete Faser und Honda Motor Corporation setzte auf die Kombination von biologisch abbaubarem aliphasischem Polyester PPT mit PET-Fasern für Innenfahrzeuge (Tür-, Decken- oder Türgriffe).


Rieter Automotive und Manial Cordage haben die unteren Decks von von den Polypropylen mit Abacafasern verstärkt (von Bananen) für das Fahrzeug Mercedes Modell Klasse A. Darüber hinaus wettete Ford auf die Entwicklung von PP-basierten, mit Keniaf-Fasern verstärkten Kabeln für den dritten Rücksitz des Taurus-Modells.
 

In jüngster Zeit haben Ford Motors zusammen mit der Invent GmbH und dem Deutschen Luft- und Raumfahrtzentrum eine Bioplastik basierend auf Leinölacrylat, verstärkt mit Flachsfasern für die Herstellung einiger externer Elemente des Modells Mustang GT RTDi Ford (Türen, Fensterrahmen, Fallschirme, Motorhaube, Kofferraum und hintere Klappe).

 

Mazda arbeitet an der Herstellung von Polypropylen aus zellularer Biomasse für Kotflügel, Seitenschutz, Deckenstangen, Handschuh, Konsolen, Klimatisierungskanälen, Batteriedeckeln, Erweiterungsgefäßen oder Spritzschutz.
Ein weiteres Beispiel ist Takata-Petri AG und Dupont, die Thermoplastische Elastomer-Polyester (TPC-ET) aus erneuerbaren Quellen für die Herstellung von Airbag-Decks gewonnen haben.

, das Technologieinstitut für Kunststoffe, setzt auf Biomaterialien in der Automobilindustrie: Entwicklung neuer polymerer Matrizen auf der Grundlage von Biomaterialien (ECOPlast-Projekt) sowie neue Belastungen und Verstärkungen durch den Einsatz von Nanotechnologie oder die Einbeziehung natürlicher Fasern für verschiedene Fahrzeuganwendungen (Projekte).
