
Am kommenden Donnerstag, dem 11. April, wird der Campus de Leganés de la UC3M die VI. Ausgabe des Nationalen Finale des BEST Engineering CompetitionEBEC Spain. Der Rektor der UC3M, Daniel Peña, wird dieses Finale mit dem Bürgermeister von Leganés, Jesus Gómez Ruiz, schließen. Dies ist das zweite nationale Finale, das von der Vereinigung BEST Madrid Carlos III. organisiert wird und aus mehr als 35 Studenten der UC3M besteht.
BEST (Board of European of Students of Thechnology) ist eine internationale Vereinigung von mehr als 3.000 Studenten aus 34 europäischen Ländern und 94 Universitäten. EBEC (European BEST Engineering Competition) ist der wichtigste Ingenieurswettbewerb, der heute von dieser Vereinigung organisiert wird. Dieses Drei-Phasen-Treffen ist in mehr als 80 lokale Runden (mit mehr als 1200 Teilnehmern) unterteilt, deren Gewinner zu einem der 13 nationalen/regionalen Finale übergehen, in diesem Fall EBEC Spain. Die nationalen Gewinner werden am europäischen Finale teilnehmen, das vom 1. bis 9. August dieses Jahres in Warschau mit 80 Universitäten stattfindet.
EBEC Spain, ist das nationale Finale in unserem Land dieses europäischen Engineering-Wettbewerbs, der in dieser VI. Ausgabe die Gewinner der lokalen Runden der 6 spanischen Universitäten, wo BEST ist anwesend: University Carlos III in Madrid, Polytechnical University of Madrid, Polytechnische Universität Barcelona, University of Valladolid, Polytechnische Hochschule Valencia und Universität Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Jede Universität hat 2 Teams, eine für jede Kategorie und die Teams bestehen aus 4 Personen. Das BEST Engineering Competition ist in zwei Kategorien:
La Kategorie Team Desing erfordert, dass die Teilnehmer eine praktische Lösung für ein technisches Problem finden, wobei sie über echte Materialien und eine Zeit für die endgültige Planung und Durchführung ihres Projekts verfügen. Bei der Beurteilung der Jury wird die Funktionalität, Optimierung der Ressourcen, Ästhetik usw. berücksichtigt...
In der Kategorie Case Study, der theoretischste Teil des Wettbewerbs, die Teilnehmer stehen vor realen unternehmerischen oder technischen Problemen, die sie in ihrer zukünftigen beruflichen Tätigkeit entstehen könnten. Sie werden mit einem Problem konfrontiert sein, das technische, wirtschaftliche, logistische und kreative Aspekte miteinander verbindet.
